Two Days in Corcovado National Park

A popular tour where you'll stay one night in the jungle!

Details of this Tour

On this tour we will hike around 8 hours through rain forest and along the beach.  There is ample opportunity to observe many animals during the tour along with a great view of beautiful nature and landscapes.

You’ll spend the night at Sirena Biological Station. The facilities are very basic – there is a platform for camping which is shared with other tourists. The platform is undercover/ indoors, and there are mattresses with mosquito nets and tents scattered over it where you’ll spend the night.

The next morning starts very early before dawn (around 4:30 – 5am) at the river Sirena, near the ranger station. Then you’ll begin your hike back to Carate.

Other options are to organize a boat trip from the Sirena Ranger Station to Drake’s bay in the afternoon (around 1 – 2pm). That would give you more time to walk the trails around the Sirena Ranger Station and will let you explore more parts of the most unspoiled and pristine wilderness in Corcovado National Park.

Departure is at 5:30am to Carate. The road is around 43km long from Puerto Jimenez.
