The walk starts at Los Patos, with an overnight stop at La Sirena, exiting the park through La Leona.
Get ready for one of the most intense and exciting adventures at Osa Peninsula, spending 3 days in Corcovado and exploring the two main routes: Los Patos-Sirena-La Leona. Our itinerary may vary according to the weather conditions of each season.
Day One: The intense-23km hike begins at either Los Patos or La Leona Station, trekking through a primary forest area, where you will witness the density and beauty of a forest with more than 2000 plant species. Walking from Los Patos to Sirena is strenuous. Therefore, it is recommended for visitors to be in good shape.
Day Two: This hike is easier than that of day 1 because you will have the chance to walk through a network of short trails around Sirena Station and visit Sirena and Claro rivers, where you can swim. During these walks, you will have the opportunity to observe the greatest biodiversity in Corcovado National Park.
Day Three: The hike to La Leona begins very early because it is subject to the change in tides. The trail goes through the forest and the beach, where you will watch a great variety of wildlife and gorgeous landscapes.
At the end of the hike, you will be taken back to Puerto Jimenez.
